In case you didn’t already know – or aren’t aware yet – getting old sucks. I was laid out all week last week due to a hiatal hernia. I suppose anyone of (almost) any age could get afflicted with this bit of misery, but it’s never happened to me before and considering all the weird health related issues I’ve had the last couple years, in my brain, it was just one more thing. My beau and I went out Sunday night to celebrate his promotion, a good bit of adult beverage was consumed at home later that night, and the next day I woke with all sorts of pain. The day after was even worse. Long story short, I got it all fixed. My organs are back where they’re supposed to be and now I’m ready to kick some arse once more. But I’m behind on a lot of things…
First, I’m working on getting the Tarot back up for sale. I know it’s been out of reach for a while and I apologize, but I’m needing to do some tweaking there. My manufacturer has improved the card stock they use (which I’m super excited about!). They now use a 305 gsm card stock with a black core. The black core means that no light can pass through the cards regardless of what is or is not printed on either side. It has vastly better edge quality, slightly better finish, shuffles better, and has better snap than the old card stock. Mainly, it’s been a while since I checked on everything so I want to make sure it’s perfect before I let people at it again. Even though it’s open edition, I can’t let half assed things go out with my name on it. Perfectionist, sorry!
Also in the “shop” category, I will have prints back up for sale as well, but I really want to streamline this with the folks that handle my printing. Which means I need to work with their API. Gotta dust off the developer parts of my brains and see if I can’t make that happen.
There’s still an issue with the carousels on this site and I’ve had no luck trying to fix it myself and the support team for Elegant Themes are not very awesome. Soo.. need to do something with that. blargh.
I need to shoot stuff for Etsy. I’ve also been working on building up my Pinterest, so if you’re a member there, go follow me. We can share stuff.
There’s all kinds of new stuff on the horizon, but this month is gonna be a little nuts. My beau’s birthday is coming up and my daughter is getting married at the end of the month! I doubt I need to say more about time constraints and stresses.
