My database recently crashed and unfortunately, my last backup was in November. I was obviously able to restore the site successfully, but there is a boatload of content missing. Please be patient while I get everything back in order.
This web site is my little labor of love, showcasing all that I fill my time with. Paintings, photography, web design, photo blogging - all of it. I've freelanced all of this for over 13 years. In the typical feast or famine freelance lifestyle, one learns to balance work; learn to wear many hats, or those famine periods can be pretty devastating. As long as I'm being creative, I'm happy and I think this portfolio exhibits just that. At least, that's the hope.
Wednesday morning I packed up my gear and headed to Jackson Missouri for the Trail of Tears State Park. This was going to be at least a 2.5 hour drive, so I brought some camping gear in case I didn’t feel like making the drive back.
The first hike of the season was spent at Meramec State Park in Sullivan, Missouri.
